Carpenters District Council of Ontario

The Carpenters District Council of Ontario is an umbrella organization representing 16 Local Unions in Ontario. The Carpenters Union provides the best trained and most productive skilled carpenters and apprentices performing concrete forming in the Province of Ontario.


Concrete Forming Association of Ontario (CFAO)

The Concrete Forming Association of Ontario (CFAO) was established in 1971and speaks for the interests of companies working in the institutional, commercial, industrial (ICI) sector of the construction industry. It accounts for the bulk of cast-in-place construction work in the Golden Horseshoe area, the hub of Ontario's economy.

Ironworkers District Council of Ontario

Ironworkers District Council of Ontario is the organization established to oversee the Six Local Unions in the province. The council represents and co-ordinates activities of Ironworkers and Rodworkers throughout the entire province. We supply competent and productive journeymen and apprentices to hundreds of contractors who are involved in concrete and steel construction.

The Labourers' Ontario Provincial District Council represents the 12 affiliated local unions throughout the province of Ontario. Building on our over 100 years of experience and dedication to quality, the Labourers' have contributed considerably to the establishment of Ontario as the best place in Canada to call home. Together we educate, train and provide the broadest range and best qualified segment of construction craft workers to the forming industry.

Ontario Formwork Association

The Ontario Formwork Association is an employers' organization which represents contractors engaged in residential high-rise construction within the province of Ontario. Member contractors are responsible for performing work to approximately 80% to 90% of the residential high-rise construction projects within Metropolitan Toronto and surrounding areas. At our peak member contractors employ upwards of 3,500 unionized workers.




The company has considerably added to the continued improvement and rationalization of construction processes in the field of formwork and scaffolding with many pioneering inventions as well as increasing the safety for those engaged in construction work.

Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario

The Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario was formed in 1959 to act in the best interest of Ontario's ready mixed concrete producers and the industry in general. It is fully funded by the membership (Active and Associate) and provides a broad range of services designed to benefit its members and the industry in general. With a total membership of about 180 companies, it is recognized as the authoritative voice of the ready mixed concrete industry in Ontario.

RSIC promotes the use of rebar reinforced concrete construction; provides technical information to developers, designers and general contractors and provides information to members.
